Thank You Card

If you've been following me for a while, you know that I love me some My Mind's Eye!

I was looking on My Mind's Eye Blog for inspiration for a Thank You card and found Danni Reid's card that was inspired by one by Lisa Wilkinson. You can see them both, HERE.

I just realized that I didn't use any My Mind's Eye on this card! lol.

I did however use Pink Paislee's "Inspire" paper and We R Memory Keeper's "Travel Log".

I stitched vellum over the "Travel Log" paper and placed some sequins underneath.

I used Elle's Studio, October Afternoon & Jillibean Soup for the sentiment area.

I finished it off with a Studio Calico Wood Veneer that I inked red and put some Crackle Accents on.

Card Challenge - Theme & Favorites

 Hello Hello!

I'm not feeling the best this week, so I'm sorry posts have been slow! I caught a cold on Friday, thankfully it wasn't all that nonsense that's going around right now!! And now my legs are killing me.. when it rains, it pours =]

I did want to share that I jumped on the Project Life Bandwagon! I've been going back and forth for months trying to decide if I wanted to add yet something else to my project list. I finally decided to and I'm glad I did! I will share my first page soon!

On to the cards!

Both of these cards are the for January Card Challenge on Scrapbook.com. This card is for Theme, which is Retro this month.

Those cute Salt & Pepper Shaker stickers are from Echo Park's "Happy Days" Collection. There's so many yummy retro stickers on this sheet!

I used Clean & Simple's Sketch #224 for this card.

I used some Amy Tangerine's "Prime Time" from Ready, Set, Go along with My Mind's Eye's "Nostalgia".

I put some pop dots under the stickers and finished the card up with a sentiment I printed on my computer and of course, some stitching.

This card is for the Favorites category, to lift a card you've had in your favorites. I found this card on Pinterest months ago. It was made by J. Day Designs, check it out, HERE.

I used some Strawberry Shortcake Trendy Twine and added a button and some faux stitching.

Mac & Cheesin' it up in Toon Town

Hello Hello!!

Today I have a layout I made with a photo I took of my niece at Disneyland, eating some Mac Cheese as she calls it!

This is for the Scrap the Person Before You Challenge on Scrapbook.com. I lifted GMFTS's "Our Summer Place in the Sun - Emerald Lake".

This is another photo I printed using Mo Pho that I printed straight from Instagram.

If you missed that post about it, check it out, HERE.

I used one of my labels from Sn@p.

For the title, I used Amy Tangerine's Muse Thickers.

The "These are the days" label is from Jillibean Soups "Love the..." labels.

The fun mustache paper is from Hambly, who sadly, is either going out of business or already has.

I made my one photo corners by making a 2 inch square, then cutting it in half. I placed it on its side and cut in about 1/2 of an inch and repeated on the other side so everything is even steven!

Halloween Gift Tags

A really good customer of mine asked me if I could make 3 Halloween Gift Tags to put on some little bags of candy she bought for her sons Pre-School teachers for Halloween. I googled Halloween Tags and found the mummy and the eyeball.

For the Pumpkin, I used Bella Blvd. "Full Moon" paper from their Too Cute to Spook Collection.

I used October Afternoon's Mini Marketplace "Green & Cream" alphabet stickers.

For the pumpkin, I cut it out of the Doodlecharms Cricut Cartridge and used washi tape for the backing. I then put Crackle Accents on top to add more texture.

I also added a curly vine with green craft wire.

I added a black eyelet, some black ink and 2 staples using my Tim Holtz's Tiny Attacher.

The mummy is my FAVORITE!! For the mummy, I taped gauze (under the large amounts of gauze) to the tag and sewed around the edges. After that I wrapped gauze around the whole tag. For the eyes I used K&Company's Nightfall 1/2 pearls. For the rosy cheeks, I used Pebbles Inc. shimmer chalk.

I used October Afternoon's Mini Marketplace "Red & Cream" alphabet stickers.

I finished it off with a white eyelet.

For the eye, I simply cut a circle out of white cardstock and made lines with Christmas Red Stickles.

I then cut another circle with purple Core'dination's cardstock, which I scored and sanded.

I hand stitched a button on and used some Tulip Puffy Paint as the *sparkle*.

I used October Afternoon's Mini Marketplace "Teal & Black" alphabet stickers on the back on top of the other side of the Bella Blvd.'s "Too Cute to Spook" line.

To finish it off, I added a white eyelet at the top.

October Card Challenge - Color and Lift

I made this card for Clean & Simple's #211 Sketch.

It's also for the October Card Challenge for Color. You can see our colors for this month, HERE.

I used My Little Shoebox, Crate Paper & Basic Grey for this card. When I was putting it together, I thought the colors just aren't going to work together, but I do really like how it came out!

The stamp is Papertrey Ink's "It's a Celebration".

I'm really loving washi tape right now!

I made this card for the October Card Challenge for the new category called "Favorites". For favorites, you have to recreate a card or sketch you've saved in your favorites either on Scrapbook.com, a blog, or Pinterest.

The card I picked out of my favorites was Nicole N's "Happy Hello" Card on Scrapbook.com.

I used all Crate Paper's "Restoration" Line for this card and one paper from October Afternoon's Thrift Shop.

I've had these Scrabble tile stickers for SO long! I used pop dots so they would look like real tiles.

A Birthday & A Christmas Layout!

I made this layout for the October 20/20 Challenge and the October Scraplift your Favorites Challenge on Scrapbook.com.

I used Echo Park's Everyday Eclectic (the same as the owls wings in my previous post) and I used Pink Paislee's Cozy Sweater for my journaling.

The Thickers are Subway. Great, now I want a Cold Cut Combo. =] I always want a Cold Cut Combo though, lol. LOVE Subway!

Journaling: Tomato, Mozzarella, Salami & Basil Appetizers. Linguine & Clams. Carmel Drizzle Pie. The Birthday Hat. $100 in singles taped together as a scarf. Doheny Beach. My favorite spot to take pictures. Stuft Pizza. S'mores on the beach with the love of my life. And one fancy shmancy pearl seat belt purse.

My purse!

I used My Mind's Eye's "The Sweetest Thing" for the number.. it's pink chevron on one side (the paper I used for my owl in my last post) and block numbers on the other. I used some washi tape and some die cut negatives for the hearts. I then added some stitching and used my tiny attacher!

I also added some white wood grain rub ons around the edges from EK Success.

This layout is also for the October 20/20 Challenge and for the Scraplift the person in front of you Challenge on Scrapbook.com. I lifted Lpeep's "Love" layout.

I think this may be the first layout I've ever made with more than one paper from the same collection. I never seem to do that. Probably cause I don't buy collections as a whole, I just buy the papers I like.

For the title I used Thicker's "Giggles". I couldn't decide between "Lights Out" or "Out like a Light". So, I put the layout on Instagram and asked for opinions!

Journaling: TT took you to go see Christmas lights one night. We stopped by the "music house" where the lights play along with the music. We thought it was off how the music that was playing wasn't even Christmas themed. We watched for about 10 minutes and you were awfully quiet. I thought you were just enjoying the show and when I looked in the backseat, you were sound asleep! When you stay awake, you love looking at Christmas Lights!

I used October Afternoon's Mini Marketplace Alphabet Stickers for her name and made a little banner out of the Cozy Sweater paper.

I want to say this Label is from Doodlebug Designs.. but I'm not positive. I printed the date on it.

Thank You!

More lifts from Pinterest? You betcha! There's so many great cards on there.. I just can't stop!

I lifted Cassie D'ambrosio's "Congratulations" card and turned it into a Thank You.

I used all Basic Grey's "Nook & Pantry" line. The stamp is from Fiskars.

a friend touches your heart

I lifted this card from Pinterest... it's becoming a trend, isn't it? =]

I made this card for the September Card Challenge for Theme, which is Friendship.

I absolutely love this cloud paper by Echo Park's line "Everyday Electric". It's super cute how all the clouds have patterns in them!

I used Bo Bunny's Double Dot card stock in Blush for the heart. I used the Doodle Charms Cricut cartridge to cut it.

I found this quote on Scrapbook.com's "Resource" section! They have a ton of different categories to find the right quote you need!!

I do!

Another Pinterest gem!

I found this card on the blog, Artistic Avenger's

I used Basic Grey's "Plumeria" line... which is one of my favs!

I hate glitter... even more now than before. I spilled it in the middle of making this card.. oops! I didn't want the glitter to flake off on who ever receives this card, so I used Glossy Accents over the top of the chipboard letters.

Welcome to the world little one!

I found this Happy Birthday card on Pinterest.. there's no watermark and it doesn't go to a site, so I'm not positive on who made the original.

I made it a baby card and used Bo Bunny, Basic Grey, Crate, and The Girls Paperie!

Love You

Have you ever looked through a gallery and saw a card that is so beyond wonderful that you have to make your own and hope it's even a quarter as lovely as the card seen? I have so many times, I've lost count!

I saw this card on Scrapbook.com called "Happy Birthday" from Mel Blackburn as Design Team work for Pebbles Inc. Not only did I love the design, but I loved the yellow! It brings so much brightness to the card and if I got that card, I'm sure it would be a very Happy Birthday!!

For the paper on this card I used Echo Park and Fancy Pants. The "Love You" is also from Echo Park.

I added some twine and a cute little clothes pin!

I used Tattered Angel's Chocolate Covered Cherries Glimmer Mist and finished it off with some stitching in the corner!
