Project Life: Week 11 - March 12-18

We're on Week 23 of Project Life already! I am still working on the middle of Week 20 though! Since I got so busy, I didn't have time to keep up with it. I did however get a chance to plan it out [click HERE to find out how I plan my weeks!]. I printed all my photos and wrote down all my journaling, it was just the putting it all together part that wasn't done.. so I'm in catch up mode now!

Here's my Week 11! Lots of Miss Pudge on this page! Don't you love that camera paper? It's by Echo Park! As always, love Simple Stories and Elle's Studio's Labels [If you haven't seen her stuff, you owe it to yourself to go check it out! click HERE to do so].

The second half of the week was Klarye & I having a date! I then went to Joey's and had some delicious Reese's Cheesecake at a restaurant called Corky's. We ended the week with celebrating my boyfriend's niece's 18th Birthday! I also saw the issue of Paper Crafts Magazine that I was in at my favorite grocery store, Winco!

Here's my favorite card from this week. Klayre & I went to Target and she was playing a game on my phone.. and taking pictures, which I didn't know until later when I looked at my pictures!! Silly girl.

Project Life - Week 9 - February 26 to March 4

Hello Hello! So I am a couple weeks behind with my Project Life, BUT... I have still been planning it out and printing my photos, so they are all least printed and in place! But journaling, not so much! I will hopefully get caught up this week!

Here is Week 9! Don't you love that arrow paper from Studio Calico?

This week started off with my niece taking a picture of herself, showing off her missing tooth! I took her to the library the next day and then me and my other niece went to Disneyland!

On the bottom of the journaling card, I was going to write Mickey, Minnie and all the other characters, but I forgot to before I took the picture!!

We went to Target and found the issue of Paper Craft's Magazine that I'm in. The boyfriend said VERY loudly "Hey! You're in this magazine!" I used an Elle's Studio "Daily Notes" for the journaling of that and you can find those, HERE.

We ended the week going back to Disneyland. We ate at Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney, which was delicious!

I had 2 favorite cards this week!

First is my Instagram card. I got that cute cheveron patterned from Finding Nana, if you haven't checked out her blog, do yourself a favor and check it out, HERE. She is AMAZING!

The link to the Chevron paper to print is, HERE.

I've been getting a lot of likes on Instagram lately, so I wanted to document that.

This card just makes me laugh... and makes me feel old too! Gotta love the mind of a 5 year old!!

Until next time!

HB - It's your Birthday!

 Happy Tuesday!

For this card, I used Clean & Simple Sketch  #232. As you know, I love their sketches!

I needed a boy card, which aren't my favorite! I started with My Mind's Eye chevron paper and splattered some gold paint on it.

I used yellow Chipboard Thicker's called Typo for this part of the sentiment on top of a paper from Basic Grey's Clipping 6x6 Pad.

For this part of the sentiment, I embossED Elle's Studio's "Detail Flags" (which you can find, HERE) in white.

That cute "It's your Birthday" stamp is from Lil' Inker Designs, you can find it, HERE.

Project Life - Week 5 - January 29 to February 4

The other day, my Mom asked "do you still make cards or is it just Project Life?" lol. I do love Project Life!

The answer? 95% Project life and 5% cards! Horrible, right? I hope to soon make the 5% higher!!

So here is week 5! Kalleigh and I went to the library for the first time and Mom and I went to the Scrapbook Expo in Anaheim, CA. I renewed my Disneyland Pass that day too!

This is my favorite card for this page.. The card is from My Mind's Eye "Collectable" line and the paper is called Memorable Journey Journal Paper. It has a bunch of cute journaling cards that are PERFECT for Project Life!

Don't you love those arrows? It's Arrow Washi Tape from Freckled Fawn, you can find it, HERE.

Here's my second page for Week 5! Mom & I went to dinner in Downtown Disney, Joey & I went to the movies, I didn't cheat food wise on Super Bowl Sunday and we went bowling!

I got the "Movie Night" printable on Rukristin Paper Crafts. You can find it, HERE.

One of my absolute favorite thing to do with Photos in Project Life is to print on photos. I know a lot of people use programs like Picasa BEFORE they print their photos. But, I do mine AFTER

HOW-TO print on a photo OR a card!

  • Use your favorite word program to  type your journaling
  • I like to use the ruler on the program to make sure I'm a little bit under 3 inches
  • Print on regular printer paper
  • Place adhesive at the top of the photo (make sure its at the top so your printer doesn't mess up your card!)
  •  Use a light to line up your photo
  • Run through your printer again (This part can get a little tricky. Make you when you print your paper the first time, that you see how it prints. I have a roller printer, so when I print I face the photo face down and cause there's a roller, it prints and ends up on the top, face up. I hope that made sense! Try it with a scratch paper until you know for sure!)
  • Tare it off the paper. Don't sit there and try to get the adhesive off while you're taking it off the paper
  • That's it!
This is my favorite card on this page. Not only because the printing on the photo but the story! I'm not sure if you can read it, but when I was getting ready to take a picture of my empty plate, the waiter (who wasn't even our waiter) came and took my plate! lol. I said "wait, wait, wait!" He laughed and set it back down and said he didn't even see I was taking a picture. It was pretty funny!!

Project Life: Week 1 - January 1 - 7

Welcome to my first week of my first Project Life! I am very excited about starting this and I absolutely love it and have been able to keep up with it, which I'll be honest, I wasn't sure I would be able to!

First I'm going to share all my planning details with you! I think without all the planning, it would be a tough thing to not only do but to keep up with!

Planning

I plan my pages out on Friday night for the previous week and I print my photos on Monday
I bought this cute little folder at the 99 cent store to keep track of everything. They have some super cute binders!

I use these Project Life Printables that I found on Hello Forever blog, you can find them, HERE.

I traced the outline on the back also, so I would have the backside of the protector on the backside of the paper. Easy peasy!

I have monthly dividers and I have a colored divider so I know which page I'm working on.

After I complete a page, I put a small piece of washi tape on the right side so I know it's complete.

So here it is! My first page of Project Life!

All of my "week" cards will be the same. I'll use the same letter stamps and the same Elle's Studio's "Number It" Stamps, which you can find, HERE.

Printables I used...
Every week, I'll also share my favorite card on the page. For week 1, it's this receipt/title card!

I hope you enjoyed my first week! I can't wait to share more with you!!

CHA! Part 2!

Hello Hello!! Today I'm going to share pictures with you of people I met at CHA!!

Are you ready for this? Make sure you're ready, cause it's going to be awesome!

The beautiful Teresa Collins!

It's blurry and my eyes are closed, but that's okay, cause it's TIM HOLTZ!

Remember when I met him at Disneyland? If you missed it, you can see the layout HERE.

Kelly from Lawn Fawn! I had to thank her for the stamps that were in my prize package from Paper Crafts! I got all tongue tied though. What can you do, I was very excited, lol. Lawn Fawn has a TON of great stamps coming out! And I'm sure you've thought it already, but how cute is her dress?!

The one and only Heidi Swapp!

I did two make and takes with her and it was awesome using products with the person who designed them!

Elle from Elle's Studio! You guys know how much I love Elle's Studio! It was a delight to meet her in person!

Miss Project Life herself, Becky Higgins!

Joey's Cruise Cards - Day 4

Today is our 2nd day in Cabo San Lucas!

Here's last years... check it out!

Joey and I have Annual Passes to Disneyland, so I thought this was more than appropriate!

For this card, I used My Minds Eye "Love Me" collection. How cute are those hexagons?
