Who Me?

2 layouts in one week.. what has this world come to? =]

Have you ever taken a picture and before you are even done taking it, you already know what the title of the layout is going to be? lol

This is Klayre at 6 months. She was so chubby when she was teeny tiny!!
Now she is tall and thin! But has the same sweet little face and chubby cheeks!

Blonde Hair, Blue Eyed, Lefty

This is my first layout in MONTHS! 5 to be exact!! I did this for the November Scraplifting 101 Challenge on Scrapbook.com. Journaling Reads: "Your parents both have dark brown hair. They both have brown eyes. They are both right handed. Yet, you are a... Blonde Hair, Blue Eyed, Lefty"

Klayre's 2nd Birthday

I haven't posted in a while.. a LONG while.. so I think it's time!!
My niece turned 2 on the 10th. Happy Birthday Klayre-A-Bellie!! This photo is of my sister and my niece. We had to have her "cake" the day AFTER her birthday cause there were so many presents to open! Instead of a cake, since her name is Klayre, she gets an Eclair. It wasn't nearly as messy as her 1st birthday!!
This is the card that was from me.. it's a biggie, measuring in at 8 1/2 x 11. The inside says "& so does TT".. The little one calls me TT =] I used my new stamp set from Amercian Craft, called Rue. It's such a cute alphabet!
I made this "card" for Klayre, from my Grandma, her Great Grams. She calls her Grea-Ga. For months, when Grea-Ga comes over to see Klayre, she steals her purse before she's all the way in the house. She then takes her wallet out, and takes out all her cards in it. Then one by one puts them back.. then repeat! So I made her a little purse card.

Inside the purse, I made a little wallet. I glued yarn around the edges so it would look more girly.

Then the fun began!! I made her two "Credit Cards".. one says Happy Birthday Klayre and I stamped two on it and the other is where Grea-Ga wrote her message. I made an ID for her on the bottom and put some Klayre stats!! I finished it with a little velcro so it would stay closed.

Enjoy every single kiss!

Today was my sister and brother-in-law's 2nd Wedding Anniversary. I've decided that on their Anniversary cards, I'm going to use a picture from there Wedding. I've been wanting to alter coasters for a while, so I thought this would be a great time to do so. This is my first Use It! Challenge No. 24. So I put "funny photos" on the coasters, enjoy!!

The Challenge...
Make a Paper Craft - The Coaster Gift (For lack of a better name!)
Bling It Up - I used stickles and random gems
Add A Tag - The Coaster Gift is filled with Hershy kisses, and the tag says "Enjoy every single kiss"
Cut Out Some Flowers - I cut flowers out and used them on the tag
Tie It Up - I used twine on the Coasters and ribbon on the bag

I'm still working on the whole color correction thing.. as you can tell, lol. This is my brother-in-law wearing the Brides vail.

No, they didn't get married at McDonalds!! They were married in a friends backyard, of whos Dad worked with the Ronald McDonald Fondation.. total photo op!

We knew she was going to get a face full of cake.. the smirk on his face was giving it away.. and man was it good, lol. It was every where!

This was inside the Coasters

This is their Card.. I was planning on using an overlay but got too curious with the heat gun, sooo needless to say that plan didn't work! So, instead I drew it on the card and used Crackle Accents in the middle of my doodling.

Thanks for peeking!

August Card Challenge - Color

This card is for Stacey's August Card Challenge, but for some reason it comes up as a "bad image" on the scrapbook site, so I'm posting here. It's only the 4th and I have 2 cards done, I'm very excited =]
This is for the Color category, primary colors. Thanks for peeking!

Jack, Jack & Jack

This is my first card in a long time! I lost my mojo for a while, but I think it's back!! I used Heidi Grace Paper and cut out the pumpkins and lifted them with pop dots. I used Core'dination Black Magic Paper and sanded it. The purple and plaid paper are from Pinecone Press, it's called Jeepers Creepers I believe. I used brown stickles on the stems and glossy accents on the eyes and teeth.

CPS #123 + Color Inspiration #53 = My Sissy's Birthday!

My Grandma asked me to make a card for my sisters Birthday on the 9th. I wanted to use my new pack "Hog Heaven" from Sassafras Lass. So, I did! (Item list of what I used at the bottom of this post.) I used Kristina's Color Inspiration and CPS Sketch, so those pictures are first.
I used Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration #53. I knew I wanted to use, red, yellow, white and black but I needed another color, so I went to her out the old Color Inspiration to see if I could find one with all my colors and a extra.. I didn't have to look far!! I have to say again, I think she is AMAZING!

This card is also for this week at CPS.. #123. I love seeing how everyone interprets the sketch and what they're cards come out as.. It's such a fun thing to see every week.

The wait is over.... here it is!!
I'll add the card I make her tomorrow.. it's not all the way finished yet. But I have until Thursday, so I'm good!

...What I used...
  • Sassafras Lass - Hog Heaven - Red & White Polka Dots, Lil Yellow Hearts and lined scallop trims (Which they have one EACH piece of paper in their stacks, and it's ADDED onto the 12x12 paper, so you still get a whole regular sized paper.)
  • Basic Grey - Monarch - Butterfly
  • Doodlebug Designs -Photo Corner - Stick With It (If you haven't had a chance to try these and you like using glitter, check them out! Making Memories also makes them)
  • Ranger - Crackle Accents
  • Ranger - Stickles - Pink, Fruit Punch, Cotton Candy, Yellow
  • Doodlebug Designs - Bright Blue Glitter
  • Making Memories - "28" Rub-On Book - Card Sayings
  • Making Memories - Staplers & Staples (Turquoise)
  • Anna Griffin - Black Ink (which is the best Black Ink I've ever used!!!)
  • Cosmo Cricket - Pop Dots
  • Random - Ribbon and Buttons

Pictures vs. Money

This is the Father's Day card I made from my sister to my brother-in-law. The front says "A Dad carries pictures where his money used to be". I've wanted to used that quote for a card from him since I found it!! I wanted it to look like one of the plastic photo holders that go into walets for photos.. so here it is.. enjoy.

Color Inspiration #55

This is my first Color Inspiration! I love Kristina Werner's site, I'm on it everyday. I love everything she does, I can't express it enough, lol. So I thought I'd give the Color Inspiration Challenge a try this week. Thanks for peeking!

You touched my <3

This card was fun to make! Here's the link.. give it a try!!
I LOVE this paper. It's in DCWV recycled stack.

Uncle Greg & Klayre

For every holiday I make my niece a 3 x 3 card for that occasion. This "occasion" was that for 6 months I've watched her 2-3 times a week while my sister taught 2nd grade. Now it's summer, so she gets to be home with her. So this card is for her, I'm going to write her a little message about how much fun we had! All the mini cards I make her, she's not allowed to open until she's 18. Which will make me...... I can add that high, sorry. Enjoy the card!
This is the card I made for my Uncle Greg from my Grandma. I used the "Old Guys Rule" Paper because him and some other members of our family have the shirts, so I thought it would be perfect.

CPS #119

This is the sketch challenge this week at CPS.
Here's my take on it.. thanks for peeking!

My flower butterfly! I used 1 1/2 flowers and a bookplate for the "body" and ribbon for the antennas.

The rub-ons are from Bo Bunny. I was going to use my cousins intials for the circles, but I didn't have her middle intial, so I used a super big brad and used a congratulations rub-on.

A bunch of cards!

So, I'm a little behind on adding cards on here. So here's all my new ones, enjoy!

The gold flower on this this card is a piece of vintage jewelry from Ohio.
