Project Life - Week 10 - March 5-11

Here's my week 10! I got my hair done with magenta all around the bottom! On the bottom row, second photo from the left, when I took it, I sent it to the boyfriend and said "Oh my God, I look like my sister!". I sent it to my sister and she couldn't believe it either. She asked my niece who's 5 who it was and she said Mommy! My niece who's 1 1/2 said the same thing! I guess I wasn't the only one who thought it!

For the 4x6 filler card, I used some Little Yellow Bicycle Stamps that I won on Instagram for simply leaving a comment on one of their photos! How awesome is that? You can find the stamp set "Everywhere", HERE. For the top of it, for the days of the week, I used Dear Lizzy's 5th & Frolic roller stamp.

Later in the week I got sick.. I mean really sick. I was miserable.. It's the sickest I've been in a VERY long time. That's what the whole middle row is about! On the left, I used some Jillibean Soup paper and typed all my symptoms on it. I had my daily meal of Airborne and hot water, lemon and honey. I felt so terrible that I went to the doctor. He gave me nose spray, which I've never used before... so that was fun.

The bottom left is a Throw Back Thursday from Instagram! My Daddy & I when I was 3!

Since I was so sick, I decided to stay home from the boyfriends that weekend. My nieces were over playing on Sunday morning and Scruf was watching!

Here's my favorite card for this week!

I found these little baskets at the Goodwill by the boyfriends last weekend. I bought them to sell,  but then I fell in love with them, lol. Nothing weird about that, right?? I got 4 of them for $2.99! I am now using all 4, the last one has all my Colorbox Ink in it now. The rest is my Project Life goodies!

I'm not sure what their baskets were made for... my guess is they were used at a Golfing Range to hold Golf Balls, but I could be wrong!

Cayden Ann

I got an order to make a little ones 1st Birthday card! The only request was it was to have Tiffany blue on it.

I used Stampin' Up!'s "Crumb Cake" for a base, as I always do!

I stamped it with a foam stamp {they were recently given to me, I'm not sure of the manufacturer} and some white paint. I added the scallop circles and then sprayed the card with Heidi Swapp's new Color Shine in Teal.

I then stamped the Happy Birthday and the 1 and added the "st" from Basic Grey's Micro Monogram Alphabet Stickers. I added chipboard Thickers that are white glitter and the font is Delight.

Donation Cards!

I made these cards to donate to a Dog Rescue who was having a raffle for baskets of all sorts! The cards I donated were for the "dog" Basket! Here are the cards.. I used sketches for 3 of them.

The bottom right is my own personal sketch from April of 2010, you can find it, HERE.
The top right and bottom left are Hero Arts April 2012 Sketch Challenge. You can find those, HERE.
The top left was all me! =]

I wanted this set of cards to all have one of the same papers. I picked Echo Park's "Woof" Collection. I just love that dog bone paper!

Here's the basket they were put in.. cute, huh!

Project Life - Week 9 - February 26 to March 4

Hello Hello! So I am a couple weeks behind with my Project Life, BUT... I have still been planning it out and printing my photos, so they are all least printed and in place! But journaling, not so much! I will hopefully get caught up this week!

Here is Week 9! Don't you love that arrow paper from Studio Calico?

This week started off with my niece taking a picture of herself, showing off her missing tooth! I took her to the library the next day and then me and my other niece went to Disneyland!

On the bottom of the journaling card, I was going to write Mickey, Minnie and all the other characters, but I forgot to before I took the picture!!

We went to Target and found the issue of Paper Craft's Magazine that I'm in. The boyfriend said VERY loudly "Hey! You're in this magazine!" I used an Elle's Studio "Daily Notes" for the journaling of that and you can find those, HERE.

We ended the week going back to Disneyland. We ate at Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney, which was delicious!

I had 2 favorite cards this week!

First is my Instagram card. I got that cute cheveron patterned from Finding Nana, if you haven't checked out her blog, do yourself a favor and check it out, HERE. She is AMAZING!

The link to the Chevron paper to print is, HERE.

I've been getting a lot of likes on Instagram lately, so I wanted to document that.

This card just makes me laugh... and makes me feel old too! Gotta love the mind of a 5 year old!!

Until next time!

Thank You Card

If you've been following me for a while, you know that I love me some My Mind's Eye!

I was looking on My Mind's Eye Blog for inspiration for a Thank You card and found Danni Reid's card that was inspired by one by Lisa Wilkinson. You can see them both, HERE.

I just realized that I didn't use any My Mind's Eye on this card! lol.

I did however use Pink Paislee's "Inspire" paper and We R Memory Keeper's "Travel Log".

I stitched vellum over the "Travel Log" paper and placed some sequins underneath.

I used Elle's Studio, October Afternoon & Jillibean Soup for the sentiment area.

I finished it off with a Studio Calico Wood Veneer that I inked red and put some Crackle Accents on.

Week 8 - Feb. 19-25

Who's ready for week 8?

I love the title card for this week... I used Basic Grey's "Out of Print" for it.

This week started off with my pup looking as cute as can be! It's a shame that he's not spoiled at all!

I spotted the issue of Paper Crafts at Joann's that I'm in! That was very exciting!! I probably looked crazy standing there in Joann's by myself!!

Joey and I went back to Disneyland after 4 months (which is a VERY long time for us!).

I made a Bathroom Bag out of a zipper pouch sheets came in and we went to the movies to see Movie 43. Don't see it by the way, I lost $6 and 2 hours of my life that night!! I do however like the card! I used Teresa Collins "Filmstrip" paper.

The bottom photo to the right of the movie tickets is a picture of me and the capris I bought... yeah, they were a little on the long side!!

This is my favorite card this week! My niece Klayre drew it for me. She said it's me making pancakes!
