Baby Cards!

A friend asked if I could make 3 baby shower cards for her, so here they are!

They're all for the June Card Challenge for Theme, which is Baby.

I lifted this card from Pinterest, but it originally came from the blog, All Things Lovely.

I used tags that had punched holes in them, but cut that part off. I used some Blue Berry Trendy Twine for the banner.

I LOVE this card! I lifted it from Danielle Flanders.. check out her awesome blog, Homespun with Heart.

I created my own pattern after looking at hers.

This one is also for the June Card Challenge for Product, which is chipboard.

I sanded the edges of the chipboard stars and inked them.

I inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and stitched on some old buttons with twine.

When my friend told me this almost new ones name, I knew exactly what I wanted the card to look like. Pink, vintage and doilies! Doesn't her name scream that?

I inked a doily with pink.

I used a ribbon flower with an old vintage earring for the center. I added 2 stick pins to the top of it.

Happy Mother's Day Aunt Marlo

I lifted this card from Christine Collin's - Baby makes 3 card. I really adore how this card turned out!

I used Fancy Pants Wishful Thinking line, the paper is called Darling.. I simply put the frame around which part I wanted on the paper, but didn't press down. I lightly traced on the outside and on the inside of the frame. I then removed the frame and cut in between those two lines and that's it!

I used Glossy Accents on the flowers and some Shabby Shutters Distressed Stickles on the leaf. I wrapped it up (literally and figuratively) with some Grape Fizz Trendy Twine.

Kalleigh Ann at 6 months

For this layout, I used Sketch #48 at 52 Sketches.. 52 Weeks. The blog is no longer active, but all their sketches are still available to view and use! And trust me, there's lots of good ones!

This is also for ScrapFIT #67, to decorate with doilies!

I recently just bought a bag of about 300 doilies at a garage sale, so I was all about this!

I really don't know how I lived without machine sewing on projects! I told my sister that she is never getting her machine back!! =]

I found this chipboard at Big Lots. It's Basic Grey's Euphoria Line. An old line, but a pretty one!

I inked the doilies lightly with pink ink.

I finished the stem off with a little Twisted Lime Baker's Twine from Trendy Twine!
