yawn.

I made this layout for... NOTHING. I know, I can't believe it either! Making a layout, just to make one.. go figure!

The photo is of my sister and my niece when my niece was probably 5 months old.

I hadn't planned on putting the "y" over her face, but I dropped it and it left adhesive on the photo, so it made a home there! I used Fiskar's "Apron Lace" punch on this.. which is my new favorite punch!! I got the line/heart idea from one of Kristina Werner's cards. I don't know if you can see it or not, but on the top, theres 2 little hearts with gems in them, it used to be a bobby pin, well, unless I cut it in 1/2 that is!!

One punch and a bunch of different papers.

I miss shoe a lot!

Clean & Simple had a fabulous sketch this week.. just love it! I've already made 3 cards with the sketch. I decided to share this one because the other 2 are for my cousins for Christmas and I don't want to give them a chance to see them sooner than they should!!

A couple days ago I got the Apron Lace Fiskars punch, that I've wanted for a loonnng time. So I've been using it a lot! Wait until you see my next layout, I used it a little too much!!

The font I used is from Fonts101.com and is called Traveling _Typewriter.

'cuse me?

I made this layout for Creative Scrappers #134.

When I saw this picture of my niece, my first thought was "excuse me?" and the title was born!!

Journaling: At 2.5, you have perfect manners! You always make sure to say "pease" and "tant tou". If someone is busy and you need them, you say "cuse me" to get their attention. If you happen to toot, which you do quite often these days, you always say "cuse me" for that too! Before you could talk, you even knew how to sign "thank you"! Spring of 2010

Notice the bruise on her noggin? My guess is this was one of the "lets run down the hallway with our eye closed" moments, but I could be wrong!

Thanks a million + a little joy!

Do you ever look at a Papers Craft magazine and see a card and think "why didn't I think of that.. it's so awesome?" Yes.. me too. That's exactly what I thought when I saw Erin Lincoln's "Thanks A Million" card on page 81 of PC Favorite Occasions Vol. 2.

The font is EK Wish from fonts101.com.

With this card I wanted to make a very simple card with not many products. Believe it or not, there's 8.. doesn't look like that many, right?

I LOVE this paper from Basic Grey.. it's from their Mistletoe & Pear collection.

Sammie

I made this layout for the December Scrap the Person Before You Challenge. I lifted ScrapperBerly's "Crazy for Pink" layout.

The little one takes Sammie every where she goes and just adores her. She even speaks in a "Sammie voice".. sometimes answering the questions that she asks!!

I was so focused on getting a striaght photo, that I didn't notice the blurry factor until I uploaded it.

For the journaling I used fonts101.com and used the font called MA Flirty.

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

That's been one of my favorite Christmas songs since I was 7. I remember at school we put on a Christmas play and that was on of the songs and it's kind of just stuck with me!!

Before I share my card I wanted to thank Liz at The Scrappiest for picking my @ The Pumpkin Patch layout as the winner for November.. how exciting is that!? Thanks Liz!!

This card is for the December Card Challenge on Scrapbook.com that I host. It's for Color, which this month is red, green and white. It's also for the Bonus category, to create a card you've been thinking about for a while and want to share the fun idea.

I've had the idea for this tree for a while! I used my 2 in. circle punch to make 6 circles from an old reading book from 2nd grade (don't ask me why I have it....). I folded the circles using directions for Dahila Flower instructions on Splitcoaststampers.

I inked both sides of the circles and added extra on random parts. I used Peeled Paint Distress Ink.

I used pop dots under the 1st and 2nd layers and put "snow" under the layers.

I did the same thing with trunk, but folded it back over one time.

The card is for the December Card Challenge also. It's for Theme, which is winter and for Product, which is felt. That huge snowflake is a felt ornament.

I liked the snowflake by itself, but love what the stickles added to it!! That picture looks yummy, like a Christmas Sugar Cookie!
