I do!

Another Pinterest gem!

I found this card on the blog, Artistic Avenger's

I used Basic Grey's "Plumeria" line... which is one of my favs!

I hate glitter... even more now than before. I spilled it in the middle of making this card.. oops! I didn't want the glitter to flake off on who ever receives this card, so I used Glossy Accents over the top of the chipboard letters.

Welcome to the world little one!

I found this Happy Birthday card on Pinterest.. there's no watermark and it doesn't go to a site, so I'm not positive on who made the original.

I made it a baby card and used Bo Bunny, Basic Grey, Crate, and The Girls Paperie!

August Card Challenge - Sketch!

Here is the sketch I created for the August Card Challenge that I host on Scrapbook.com.

As always, feel free to use it for your own personal inspiration!

My card was completely Disney inspired! The signs are not at all accurate of where the lands are at Disneyland, but that's okay!

Junior Kindergarten!

My niece started Junior Kindergarten on Wednesday. I was very bummed to find out that I wouldn't get to spend everyday with her but I knew she would have a blast at school! For almost 5 years, I've spent probably 95% of her life with her. She's an awesome little girl and I couldn't love her any more than I do! Here's a picture of us the other day.. we were playing spies!

I make my nieces cards that they can't open until they turn 16. In the cards I write about what they're doing at certain points in their life... this will be one of them!

I made this for the August Card Challenge for Theme, which is Back to School and for Photo Inspiration, which you can see, HERE.

She told me I could call Junior Kindergarten, Jr. K if I wanted!

She used a doily to create a wedding dress.. how creative is that? So creative! I only had small ones, so I gave the skirt part a couple layers!!

August Card Challenge: Color, Product and Lift

Here are some of my cards for the August Card Challenge and they're not even due tomorrow! lol, I know... it doesn't happen too often like this!

This card is for the Color category.. here are the colors we needed to use..

I used We R Memory Keepers Out and About Stamps called "Neighborhood". I inked them up with Color Box and Martha Stewart Inks.

You can see the sentiment better in person, but it says "Congratulations on your new home".

I found this gem on Pinterest.. This Wish Card was made by Valerie_AM and the photo was on Flickr.

I added a "make a" stamp and some splattered paint to mine.

This was the card for the Lift category this month. Happy Birthday was made by Donnajazz on Scrapbook.com.

I used K & Co.'s "Poppyseed line for this card.

On the 5th of every month I will post a card that I made from a couple months ago up to a couple years and I will lift the card.

How do you play?
Lift the card also! You can turn it, add to it, take away from it, as long as I can still see the original sketch in your card!
You can use other challenges with this one, as long as the card is for your own personal use. I don't mind if you use this challenge and sell the card you made, but please do not submit it to be published.

Example: It can be for a Design Team sample, but not used as a card to get you on to a DT. If you're unsure, just drop me an e-mail on the right, thanks!!
Make sure to leave your link in the widget when you're finished to be up for the prize at the end of the month!
This is a monthly challenge. Come back on the 5th of every month for a new card to lift!

(Made Fresh Daily Wednesday Rewind #9)

I made this card on 4.21.2011.

I made this for my boyfriend Joey and sent it to him a week before we went on our cruise!!

I made this card on 7.17.12 for a customer who needed an Anniversary card for her boyfriend! She requested black and red.. I really like how it came out.. "boy cards" are not my favorite to make!!

Camo Bibs!!

I can't believe I haven't posted in 5 days! I have been SUPER busy making cards! I participated in a Quarter Auction today.. I'll tell you more about that later!!

On to the bibs!

I thought it would be fun to see if I could make some bibs! I used the Iron On Vinyl that I use for my Disneyland Map Wallets so you can just wipe the food off, you don't have to run it through the washing machine.

I also made a catch all pocket!

Topped it off with some velcrow.

And try them on! They fit both of my nieces perfectly!

Love You

Have you ever looked through a gallery and saw a card that is so beyond wonderful that you have to make your own and hope it's even a quarter as lovely as the card seen? I have so many times, I've lost count!

I saw this card on Scrapbook.com called "Happy Birthday" from Mel Blackburn as Design Team work for Pebbles Inc. Not only did I love the design, but I loved the yellow! It brings so much brightness to the card and if I got that card, I'm sure it would be a very Happy Birthday!!

For the paper on this card I used Echo Park and Fancy Pants. The "Love You" is also from Echo Park.

I added some twine and a cute little clothes pin!

I used Tattered Angel's Chocolate Covered Cherries Glimmer Mist and finished it off with some stitching in the corner!

July Card Challenge - last 2!

I didn't get all 8 cards down for the July Card Challenge this month! Ohh well!

This is my last card, which is for the Product category, which was to use rhinestones.

This is a lift of ~{Puppet}~'s "Card Set" on Scrapbook.com. You can see it, HERE.

I used Basic Grey, Bo Bunny, Stampin' Up and Crate Paper on this card. The rhinestones are from Queen & Company.

This card is for the July Card Challenge for Lift.

The winner of last month's lift chose Carmen C-Henriquez's Happy Birthday card, which you can see, HERE.

I used Basic Grey's "Sweet Threads" line and Crate Paper's "Paper Hearts" line for this one.

The pearls are "Sunshine" from Queen & Company.

Get Well Soon! & With Deepest Sympathy

I made both of these cards for the July Card Challenge that I host on Scrapbook.com.

This card is for the technique category, which is a technique called "Faux Linen". You can see the tutorial, HERE.

It is a super easy technique while makes a great impression!

I used Basic Grey & Crate Paper on this card. I filled in random leaves with Diamond Stickles.

For the background stamp of the technique, I used Glitz's "Distressing Set Two".

For the sentiment, I used Technique Tuesday's "Small Talk".

I used the same layout for this card as well, cause I just loved it!

This card is for the July Card Challenge on Scrapbook.com for Theme, which is Sympathy.

I used the Faux Linen technique on this card also.

I used all Plumeria from Basic Grey on this card.

I used Technique Tuesday's "Small Talk" for this sentiment as well. Love that stamp set!

Happy 23rd Birthday Kati!

I made this card for my cousin Kati, for her 23rd Birthday.

I used Elle's Studio's Vintage Mix & Match Numbers and Dear Lizzy's Merry Foam Thickers for her name.

I added this cute polka dot flower from Basic Grey's Hopscotch Bloomers!

Thanks for all that you do!

I love this card so much I'm thinking about doing something nice for someone and giving them the card to give to me. lol, jk jk. But, I do LOVE this one!

This is for City Crafter Challenge Blog - Week #118 - "I've been hexed!"

This card is also for the July Card Challenge for Color.

We all know how trendy hexagons are right now! I recently enter another challenge on Moxie Fab World, for another hexagon challenge, which you can see HERE.

I am entering this one in the Moxie Fab World: Hooked on Hexagon Challenge also.. make sure to go check out the challenge.. it ends on July 30th!

For the hexagons on this card, I used Cricut's "Accent Essentials" cartridge.

I used some Basic Grey, Echo Park & Crate Paper for this card.

This part was time consuming, but not too bad! I absolutely love how it turned out too. I used grey because I wanted to be able to see the stitching, but I didn't want it to take away from the papers I used or the sentiment.

Oddly enough, the thickers I used (and I didn't know it until I just looked right now) are called Patchwork! I guess it was meant to be! I printed the rest of the sentiment on Core'dinations cardstock.

It of course wouldn't be complete without some Trendy Twine! I used the color "Sky".

This hexagon flower was a very happy accident! I forgot to press the shift button on my Cricut and it cut the wrong die cut. I thought why not turn every layer so it turns out like a flower? So, I did! Cute, huh!

A Sonic Birthday!

Don't worry.. I'm still alive! Sorry for the week of no posts!

I made a Sonic card and Sonic wallet for a friend's son. I absolutely LOVE how this card came out! I can't draw at all, so here's what I did... I Googled Sonic and when I printed out the imagine I liked. I then cut it apart and traced the shapes on the colors I wanted to use. If I hadn't done that, it would look nothing like this! lol. For the blue, I used Core'dinations and on the raised piece, I sanded the edges so the core color shows!

If you've never used Core'dinations, here what it is... It's color cardstock that has another color in the core of the paper. So, if you tear the paper or sand the paper, it will show the core color. The core color is on the back so you know what the color is. They sell this at Joann's.

I also made a Sonic Comic Book wallet for him as well.
