2 more challenges, down!

Have you ever made a project and you think.. "wow, I did that?" This would be one of those cards. I absolutely LOVE it. I love it so much that I told my boyfriend I wanted to keep it for myself. He said "how about I buy it and give it to you?" Better yet!

I used Sketch #184 at Clean & Simple for this card.

I used Technique Tuesday's "Small Talk" stamp set for the sentiment.

I cut the flower out of felt and then spray painted Chalkboard paint on it. For any reason? No, lol. I just wanted to see if it would bleed through or not and I was working on something else with Chalkboard paint that I will share with you soon!

On a roll!!

This is the sketch for the April Card Challenge. As always, you can find this sketch at any time in the right column under 2012 Sketches.

Here's one more for Theme, which is Birthday. I used Sketch #18 at Sketch Support for this one.

I am really loving Basic Grey's Plumeria paper! This card is for the Photo Inspiration category. You can see the Photo Inspiration HERE. I took that in the bathroom at Disneyland, lol. Inspiration strikes any where and every where!!

April Card Challenge Cards!!

I'm not only finished with most of my April cards, but have already taken pictures and am posting them.. and it's only the 3rd.. I'm on a roll this month!

This card is for Color, here's our colors for this month..

This is also a lift of Mel Blackburn's "Oh Hello!" Card, which you can see HERE.

These cards are for Theme, which is Birthday this month.

How cute is that little robot stamp? He's from Imaginisce's Live Loud Collection.

The music notes over the sentiment are also a stamp. I heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. It's a set called "Distressing" by Glitz Design. I'll be showing off the other 4 stamps in that collection soon!

This would be a great get well card for a child. You know how much little ones like Band-Aids! I know I did and my niece is always looking for a reason to use one. "TT, I accidentally hit the wall with my finger, can I have a band-aid for it?" I always ask "Are you bleeding? lol.

Anyway! This card is for the product category, which is vellum.

I used vellum on the center square over a piece of card stock.

You're one of a kind... you make my heart flutter!

Happy Friday Night! Did you win the lotto tonight? Did you even play? We did... and got one number and one mega number!

Can you imagine $640 MILLION dollars? I can't, lol. On Tuesday I took my 4 year old niece with me to pick numbers. She was more fascinated in the toys in the liquor store than anything else though!! I asked her I won, what does she think I would buy? Her answer was.. "toys for me!". I asked if she thought my boyfriend would buy me a ring.. she said "No, but maybe a car". She said my Dad would buy food and she said if she won, she would buy toys for her little sister!

I vote on the ring, but hey, whatever. =]

On to the cards!

I used Clean & Simple Sketch #183 for this card.

For this card, I used Sweet Sunday Sketch #155. I bought those My Little Shoebox tree stamps at the Scrapbook Convention last month. So cute, right?

I stamped on the kraft cardstock and on the green patterned paper and used pop dots to lift them.

Easter Egg Card!!

I made this card for the March Card Challenge for the Theme (Easter) & the Product (fabric) categories.

I got this tag years ago at our used to be local scrapbook store.. I guess I've been saving it for a rainy day! =]

My Mom makes fun of me when I hand stitch on cards... lol, but I always think I'm going to some how break her machine!!

Ten Years Older...

I love everything about this card! The colors, of course are my favorite! It's very.. "Spring is coming, Spring is coming!"

For this card I played along with Sketch #233 at Mojo Monday. I also decided to flip the sketch counter clockwise.

I used Basic Grey's "Plumeria" 6x6 paper pad for this card.

"To me, old age is always TEN YEARS older than I am." John Burroughs

I remember when I thought 30 was old... now that I'm turning 27 this year, I don't think it is at all, lol.

I used a Basic Grey Bloomer from the Capella line and it matched perfectly!
