no cards?

No cards this time!! I'm in a layout making mood these days. It's different, that's for sure!!

I lifted the design of this layout from Emilie Ahern's layout "New Sisters". You can see it here.. http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/88046/view/1992233/-1.html

Both of these layouts are for the June Baby Challenge on Scrapbook.com

Journaling: Toes, piggies, tooties & toesies, we call them so many different things! In May of 2010, you were at Ga & Papa's and you asked why there were fingers on your feet. You ask the cutest questions Klayre A Bell! The photo of you little piggies was taken on your Daddy's Birthday in 2007, 5 days after you were born.

This one is for the Baby Challenge and for the June Scraplift the person before you Challenge on scrapbook.com. I lifted Alarae's "So Sweet", which you can see here... http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/130307/view/2564723/-1.html

I made a mosaic with scraps.

last one.. i swear!

I've posted twice tonight already! But I have one more to share!! Every 6 months or so I make my niece a card that she's not allowed to open until she's 16. I write her about what she loves at the moment and how much I love her and all that good stuff!!

I found this stamp set in the $1 bin at Michael's. We say this when we leave the little one, so it was a must =]

This is for the Bonus category of Scrapbook.com's June Card Challenge, to use thought/talk bubbles on your card.

I O U

I played along with 2 Sketches 4 You this week. It's for Laura's #53 sketch.

I used Core'dinations Cardstock and scored the paper than sanded it.

I have a bunch of these tickets that I'm not exactly quite sure what to do with.. but I think they're super cute!! I have a layout idea in mind though!

Not too shabby for $1 rub-ons, huh? They have scrapbooking stuff at Big Lots if you didn't already know this!! Each store has different stuff too.. it's worth a look!

a lovely thank you

Here's 4 random cards I'd like to share!
This one is for the June Card Challenge on Scrapbook.com for sketch.

Here's the sketch.. feel free to use it as inspiration.

You wouldn't know it was my card if there isn't any crackle accents on it... would you? =]

to make my card.. i loved the design!!

The next two are cards that I made for a friend who needed 2 love cards.

Quite a difference in colors, don't ya think?

from the top to the bottom

Have you seen these type cards around scrapbooking galleries? I always wanted to try one.. I had no idea what I was going to do with this Zebra print paper that came in the DCWV Dressed Up stack, cause I hate animal print! So I thought this would be perfect!!

Can you see the cleavage I made with chalk?? lol. It's really light.

I have a couple other ideas for the sentiment too... you can make some funny ones!

I would normally never use up that many gems on one card, or even a layout for that matter, but it needed something else... it looked odd with the gap from the paper to the lace.

I've also got a couple other sentiments for this one!!

Roo

I hope you're all having a great Memorial Day weekend! We're having dinner here tonight instead of tomorrow. It's 89 out right now! A little too warm if you ask me!! At 4am this morning it was 68... crazy!

This card is for 4 challenges! One is for the June Card Challenge, but I can't tell you for what category cause they haven't been revealed yet!!

The sketch is from Mojo Monday #140

The two color challenges are ColourQ #34 and Color Throwdown #94.

The colors in these challenges were so close to each other this week, so I'm using it for both!

I really like Mojo Monday's sketches, because they layer, a lot. I'm not too good at layering and still making it look decent, lol, so the sketches really help!!

I participated in the "Scraplift the person infront of you" Challenge on Scrapbook.com and lifted this lovely layout by Lauriep78.

My layout.. wanna know a secret about the photo? I took it, I wasn't really sleeping! hehe. My sister was in the hospital and couldn't sleep so she asked for a photo of us. Can you see on my forehead, in the middle, theres a heart?? I didn't edit the photo at all, weird, right?? I'm thinking maybe it was a shadow or something in my sisters house? But it would be darker, right? There goes that theory, lol.

Look how itsy bitsy the baby is!

I used Making Memories rub ons that I got at the scrapbooking garage sale a while ago.

A bunch of goodies in this one! Rub on stitches, hand drawn stitches, lots of yummy ribbon, a ribbon buckle and a die cut bracket sticker.

Make it Pretty!

Afternoon!!

I wanted to share a couple things with you today! First is how I store my bling/pearls. You know.. the ones that are on those little 2 x 2 1/2 sheets of acetate? I made this little booklet to store them in..

First I measured the sheets of acetate so I could get 2 sheets on each page, with a little extra room on the sides. I put very strong adhesive on the back of the acetate and stuck them on the cardstock.

I stamped on the front of my little booklet with Studio G(flowers), American Crafts (make it) and Technique Tuesday(pretty) stamps. I added some crackle accents on the flowers and added a stitched border with a gel pen.

I used a bunch of ribbon and fibers on the ring, to make it even more pretty! I used Heidi Swapp's divider labels to show which page has what.

It looked too plain just being stamped with black ink so I literally "made it pretty" with some stickles.

I have an old jewerly box that I got at a garage sale, this is the bottom drawer of it. The middle drawer is just divided into thirds and I will take a picture of the top "drawer" soon... it's just perfect for scrap supplies!!

As you can see, I use the bottom drawer for all my mini eyelets.

I think this just looks so yummy!

I also wanted to share this photo with you that I took the other night. There is this tree by our house that is HUMONGOUS! When I take my Grandma home after dinner, it's always just as the sun is setting and you can just see the silhouette of the tree, so this time I pulled over and took a picture!!

a late Saturday night...

..makes for 2 cute cards!!

Do you like my new watermark? I've always wanted to add one to my cards, and finally figured out how. On to challenges!!

For this card I used Laura's sketch on 2 Sketches 4 You #52. This is my first time playing along at this site. This is also for the May Card Challenge on Scrapbook.com for bonus, to make a card from a magazine photo.

I've been seeing flowers like this around the scrapbooking community lately and wanted to give one a try. I used a piece of fabic to make mine and love how it came out!

I used crackle accents, of course!

Another sketch... another card! This sketch is from Mojo Monday #139. Super cute sketch, right?
Here's my card..

Tigger!

I made this layout for the Scraplifting 101 Challenge and the May Lyric Challenge on Scrapbook.com. The Lyric Challenge is to use a Disney song on your layout and the Scraplifting Challenge, you can lift one of three layouts.
