Project Life: Week 12 & Week 13 - March 19-25 & March 26-April 1

Don't you love when I disappear for months at a time? Me either! Let's get back to Project Life!

I got a Silhouette Cameo for my Birthday and it is an amazing machine. If you're on the fence about it or don't know which is better, Cricut or Silhouette, let me say this.. I have both and although I love my Cricut you can do a TON more on the Silhouette!

Here's Week 12! Not much happened this week, so I only made one page for it.

Here's Week 13!

I promise to be back sooner than later this time!

Project Life: Week 11 - March 12-18

We're on Week 23 of Project Life already! I am still working on the middle of Week 20 though! Since I got so busy, I didn't have time to keep up with it. I did however get a chance to plan it out [click HERE to find out how I plan my weeks!]. I printed all my photos and wrote down all my journaling, it was just the putting it all together part that wasn't done.. so I'm in catch up mode now!

Here's my Week 11! Lots of Miss Pudge on this page! Don't you love that camera paper? It's by Echo Park! As always, love Simple Stories and Elle's Studio's Labels [If you haven't seen her stuff, you owe it to yourself to go check it out! click HERE to do so].

The second half of the week was Klarye & I having a date! I then went to Joey's and had some delicious Reese's Cheesecake at a restaurant called Corky's. We ended the week with celebrating my boyfriend's niece's 18th Birthday! I also saw the issue of Paper Crafts Magazine that I was in at my favorite grocery store, Winco!

Here's my favorite card from this week. Klayre & I went to Target and she was playing a game on my phone.. and taking pictures, which I didn't know until later when I looked at my pictures!! Silly girl.

Project Life - Week 10 - March 5-11

Here's my week 10! I got my hair done with magenta all around the bottom! On the bottom row, second photo from the left, when I took it, I sent it to the boyfriend and said "Oh my God, I look like my sister!". I sent it to my sister and she couldn't believe it either. She asked my niece who's 5 who it was and she said Mommy! My niece who's 1 1/2 said the same thing! I guess I wasn't the only one who thought it!

For the 4x6 filler card, I used some Little Yellow Bicycle Stamps that I won on Instagram for simply leaving a comment on one of their photos! How awesome is that? You can find the stamp set "Everywhere", HERE. For the top of it, for the days of the week, I used Dear Lizzy's 5th & Frolic roller stamp.

Later in the week I got sick.. I mean really sick. I was miserable.. It's the sickest I've been in a VERY long time. That's what the whole middle row is about! On the left, I used some Jillibean Soup paper and typed all my symptoms on it. I had my daily meal of Airborne and hot water, lemon and honey. I felt so terrible that I went to the doctor. He gave me nose spray, which I've never used before... so that was fun.

The bottom left is a Throw Back Thursday from Instagram! My Daddy & I when I was 3!

Since I was so sick, I decided to stay home from the boyfriends that weekend. My nieces were over playing on Sunday morning and Scruf was watching!

Here's my favorite card for this week!

I found these little baskets at the Goodwill by the boyfriends last weekend. I bought them to sell,  but then I fell in love with them, lol. Nothing weird about that, right?? I got 4 of them for $2.99! I am now using all 4, the last one has all my Colorbox Ink in it now. The rest is my Project Life goodies!

I'm not sure what their baskets were made for... my guess is they were used at a Golfing Range to hold Golf Balls, but I could be wrong!

Project Life - Week 9 - February 26 to March 4

Hello Hello! So I am a couple weeks behind with my Project Life, BUT... I have still been planning it out and printing my photos, so they are all least printed and in place! But journaling, not so much! I will hopefully get caught up this week!

Here is Week 9! Don't you love that arrow paper from Studio Calico?

This week started off with my niece taking a picture of herself, showing off her missing tooth! I took her to the library the next day and then me and my other niece went to Disneyland!

On the bottom of the journaling card, I was going to write Mickey, Minnie and all the other characters, but I forgot to before I took the picture!!

We went to Target and found the issue of Paper Craft's Magazine that I'm in. The boyfriend said VERY loudly "Hey! You're in this magazine!" I used an Elle's Studio "Daily Notes" for the journaling of that and you can find those, HERE.

We ended the week going back to Disneyland. We ate at Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney, which was delicious!

I had 2 favorite cards this week!

First is my Instagram card. I got that cute cheveron patterned from Finding Nana, if you haven't checked out her blog, do yourself a favor and check it out, HERE. She is AMAZING!

The link to the Chevron paper to print is, HERE.

I've been getting a lot of likes on Instagram lately, so I wanted to document that.

This card just makes me laugh... and makes me feel old too! Gotta love the mind of a 5 year old!!

Until next time!

Week 8 - Feb. 19-25

Who's ready for week 8?

I love the title card for this week... I used Basic Grey's "Out of Print" for it.

This week started off with my pup looking as cute as can be! It's a shame that he's not spoiled at all!

I spotted the issue of Paper Crafts at Joann's that I'm in! That was very exciting!! I probably looked crazy standing there in Joann's by myself!!

Joey and I went back to Disneyland after 4 months (which is a VERY long time for us!).

I made a Bathroom Bag out of a zipper pouch sheets came in and we went to the movies to see Movie 43. Don't see it by the way, I lost $6 and 2 hours of my life that night!! I do however like the card! I used Teresa Collins "Filmstrip" paper.

The bottom photo to the right of the movie tickets is a picture of me and the capris I bought... yeah, they were a little on the long side!!

This is my favorite card this week! My niece Klayre drew it for me. She said it's me making pancakes!

Project Life - Week 7 - Feb. 12-18

The top is the rest of Week 6!

Then starts week 7!

I used My Mind's Eye, Echo Park, Amy Tangerine, Elle's Studio & Studio Calico for this page!

I LOVE that arrow paper from My Mind's Eye, don't you?

I printed on pictures twice on this page.. which is one of my new favorite things to do!

This of course was my favorite card! It is just too exciting not to be!

Project Life - Week 6 - Feb. 5-11

Week 6, comin' up!

The top is actually the rest of Week 5! You can see the rest of it, HERE.

I couldn't figure out why my past weeks were blurry when I posted them here, but I think I have it figured out! Hopefully this week is more clear than the last!!

This week I used some My Mind's Eye, Pink Paislee, Basic Grey, Elle's Studio & GCD Studios!

We tried a new recipe, I lost 2lbs., Kal was doing some reading, Dad's mug FINALLY came after 3 months and Klayre & I had a picnic in the living room!

Klayre became a Daisy and Joey took me to The Great Balloon Park in Orange County. If you haven't been or heard of it, check out their site, HERE. You go up 400ft. in this orange balloon that is tethered to the ground. If that isn't fun enough, it's free too! They also have a carousel that is also free to ride as many time as you want. I rode an ostrich!

This was my favorite card of this week! Very excited for her!

Project Life - Week 5 - January 29 to February 4

The other day, my Mom asked "do you still make cards or is it just Project Life?" lol. I do love Project Life!

The answer? 95% Project life and 5% cards! Horrible, right? I hope to soon make the 5% higher!!

So here is week 5! Kalleigh and I went to the library for the first time and Mom and I went to the Scrapbook Expo in Anaheim, CA. I renewed my Disneyland Pass that day too!

This is my favorite card for this page.. The card is from My Mind's Eye "Collectable" line and the paper is called Memorable Journey Journal Paper. It has a bunch of cute journaling cards that are PERFECT for Project Life!

Don't you love those arrows? It's Arrow Washi Tape from Freckled Fawn, you can find it, HERE.

Here's my second page for Week 5! Mom & I went to dinner in Downtown Disney, Joey & I went to the movies, I didn't cheat food wise on Super Bowl Sunday and we went bowling!

I got the "Movie Night" printable on Rukristin Paper Crafts. You can find it, HERE.

One of my absolute favorite thing to do with Photos in Project Life is to print on photos. I know a lot of people use programs like Picasa BEFORE they print their photos. But, I do mine AFTER

HOW-TO print on a photo OR a card!

  • Use your favorite word program to  type your journaling
  • I like to use the ruler on the program to make sure I'm a little bit under 3 inches
  • Print on regular printer paper
  • Place adhesive at the top of the photo (make sure its at the top so your printer doesn't mess up your card!)
  •  Use a light to line up your photo
  • Run through your printer again (This part can get a little tricky. Make you when you print your paper the first time, that you see how it prints. I have a roller printer, so when I print I face the photo face down and cause there's a roller, it prints and ends up on the top, face up. I hope that made sense! Try it with a scratch paper until you know for sure!)
  • Tare it off the paper. Don't sit there and try to get the adhesive off while you're taking it off the paper
  • That's it!
This is my favorite card on this page. Not only because the printing on the photo but the story! I'm not sure if you can read it, but when I was getting ready to take a picture of my empty plate, the waiter (who wasn't even our waiter) came and took my plate! lol. I said "wait, wait, wait!" He laughed and set it back down and said he didn't even see I was taking a picture. It was pretty funny!!

Project Life - Week 4 - January 22-28

Week 4 is here! Believe it or not, I am caught up to now, just sharing slowly!

This week was a slow week.. Kal wore Papa's shoes around the house, Klayre & I went to the Duck Pond to feed the ducks.. we had a blast! And the girls were coloring on the kitchen floor on a poster board. Good times!

Week 5 is coming up on Thursday!

Project Life - Week 3 - January 15-21

I just can't stop sharing my Project Life!

This is the rest of Week 2 and the beginning of Week 3! Week 2 is rest of CHA, meeting Becky Higgins, Kelly Marie from Lawn Fawn & Heidi Swapp! I journaled about going back and forth for months about deciding whether to do Project Life or not and meeting all these lovely ladies!

This is my favorite card of the page. I absolutely LOVE this Pink Paislee paper! I used part of a grid card and a Soup Label from Jillibean Soup to do the journaling.

On to Week 3! Lots happened this week! I lost 3 lbs., got a new bed, new bedding, got very disappointed about a present that arrived in pieces, Klayre got a front tooth pulled and I got a pegboard!

This is my favorite card from this week! I love the arrows!

Until next time!

Week 2 - Project Life - January 8-14

Since we're already to Week 8, I figured I would share more of my Project Life!

This is my Week 2!

Here is my favorite card on this page.. and it just so happens that Elle, the designer is right above! In the bottom right corner! I got to meet her at CHA!

This card is from Elle's Studio's "Daily Note Tags". I cut it on an angle and sewed around the bottom so I could make a pocket to hold my old Disneyland Pass and the parking pass for CHA.

The day of CHA, I also got to cross off another item on my bucket list.. seeing Rope Drop at Disneyland. Rope Drop is where they let you in Disneyland before it opens but rope off all the lands and when they open, the drop the ropes! I've been an Annual Pass holder for years and this was my 4th attempt! Better late than never!

This page truly blows my mind! First up is my niece Klayre, you can't see it too well cause of the protector, but she is a Daisy in Girl Scouts and is selling cookies. My sister wrote on chalkboard "How many boxes would you like to buy?" and Klayre wrote her name!

Next up is my badge from CHA.

The next two rows are some of the amazing people I got to meet! There is Teri Anderson, Cath Edvalson, Amy Tan & Susan R. Opel!

I did some journaling on the bottom right!

Here's my favorite card from this page!

I love these wood veneer arrows from Studio Calico!

Project Life: Week 1 - January 1 - 7

Welcome to my first week of my first Project Life! I am very excited about starting this and I absolutely love it and have been able to keep up with it, which I'll be honest, I wasn't sure I would be able to!

First I'm going to share all my planning details with you! I think without all the planning, it would be a tough thing to not only do but to keep up with!

Planning

I plan my pages out on Friday night for the previous week and I print my photos on Monday
I bought this cute little folder at the 99 cent store to keep track of everything. They have some super cute binders!

I use these Project Life Printables that I found on Hello Forever blog, you can find them, HERE.

I traced the outline on the back also, so I would have the backside of the protector on the backside of the paper. Easy peasy!

I have monthly dividers and I have a colored divider so I know which page I'm working on.

After I complete a page, I put a small piece of washi tape on the right side so I know it's complete.

So here it is! My first page of Project Life!

All of my "week" cards will be the same. I'll use the same letter stamps and the same Elle's Studio's "Number It" Stamps, which you can find, HERE.

Printables I used...
Every week, I'll also share my favorite card on the page. For week 1, it's this receipt/title card!

I hope you enjoyed my first week! I can't wait to share more with you!!
