Project Life - Week 9 - February 26 to March 4

Hello Hello! So I am a couple weeks behind with my Project Life, BUT... I have still been planning it out and printing my photos, so they are all least printed and in place! But journaling, not so much! I will hopefully get caught up this week!

Here is Week 9! Don't you love that arrow paper from Studio Calico?

This week started off with my niece taking a picture of herself, showing off her missing tooth! I took her to the library the next day and then me and my other niece went to Disneyland!

On the bottom of the journaling card, I was going to write Mickey, Minnie and all the other characters, but I forgot to before I took the picture!!

We went to Target and found the issue of Paper Craft's Magazine that I'm in. The boyfriend said VERY loudly "Hey! You're in this magazine!" I used an Elle's Studio "Daily Notes" for the journaling of that and you can find those, HERE.

We ended the week going back to Disneyland. We ate at Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney, which was delicious!

I had 2 favorite cards this week!

First is my Instagram card. I got that cute cheveron patterned from Finding Nana, if you haven't checked out her blog, do yourself a favor and check it out, HERE. She is AMAZING!

The link to the Chevron paper to print is, HERE.

I've been getting a lot of likes on Instagram lately, so I wanted to document that.

This card just makes me laugh... and makes me feel old too! Gotta love the mind of a 5 year old!!

Until next time!

Thank You Card

If you've been following me for a while, you know that I love me some My Mind's Eye!

I was looking on My Mind's Eye Blog for inspiration for a Thank You card and found Danni Reid's card that was inspired by one by Lisa Wilkinson. You can see them both, HERE.

I just realized that I didn't use any My Mind's Eye on this card! lol.

I did however use Pink Paislee's "Inspire" paper and We R Memory Keeper's "Travel Log".

I stitched vellum over the "Travel Log" paper and placed some sequins underneath.

I used Elle's Studio, October Afternoon & Jillibean Soup for the sentiment area.

I finished it off with a Studio Calico Wood Veneer that I inked red and put some Crackle Accents on.

Week 8 - Feb. 19-25

Who's ready for week 8?

I love the title card for this week... I used Basic Grey's "Out of Print" for it.

This week started off with my pup looking as cute as can be! It's a shame that he's not spoiled at all!

I spotted the issue of Paper Crafts at Joann's that I'm in! That was very exciting!! I probably looked crazy standing there in Joann's by myself!!

Joey and I went back to Disneyland after 4 months (which is a VERY long time for us!).

I made a Bathroom Bag out of a zipper pouch sheets came in and we went to the movies to see Movie 43. Don't see it by the way, I lost $6 and 2 hours of my life that night!! I do however like the card! I used Teresa Collins "Filmstrip" paper.

The bottom photo to the right of the movie tickets is a picture of me and the capris I bought... yeah, they were a little on the long side!!

This is my favorite card this week! My niece Klayre drew it for me. She said it's me making pancakes!

Happy Birthday Ayron!!

Tonight we went out to Market Broiler to celebrate Ayron's Birthday. Ayron is a friend of the boyfriends! And he's a quite hilarious one at that!!

Here's our appetizers... Crab stuffed Won Tons.. They were as good as they look! I somehow scraped and cut the roof of my mouth on these too.. Oops. Still worth it!

I had Shellfish Pasta for dinner... It had huge pieces of lobster in it!!

On to the card.. If you've been reading my blog for a while, you know I don't like making "boy cards"!! I don't know if it's because I have mostly all girly products or what, but it seems so tough when it's time to make a "boy card"!!

Here's Ayron and his card!

For the card, I used Stampin' Up!'s Crub Cake for the base and sprayed it with Smooch Spritz in Mossy Mist. I used My Mind's Eye & Pink Paislee paper. The stamp is from Fiskars and the super cute arrow Washi Tape is from Freckled Fawn.

Have you heard of the Washi SwapEvent that's going on at The Feckled Fawn blog?? It's where you send washi tape and get the same number back. I'm going swap 5! Check it out, HERE.

Scrapbook Expo Goodies!!

Last weekend I went to the Scrapbook Expo in Ontario, CA. Basically it is local scrapbook stores and small scrapbook businesses selling last years products for cheaper and the next years products as well. This is the first time I've gone to the one in Ontario. For the last 3 years, I've gone to the one in Anaheim. The fact that it's literally right across the street from Disneyland doesn't hurt either!

I left the boyfriend at home and went by myself. By "left him at home", I mean, I told him he wasn't allowed to come with me, lol. 2 minutes in a Scrapbook store, he's asking if I'm ready to leave!!

Everyone that was there got these Mini Glue Dots.

How cute are these stamps?! I couldn't help but get all of them! They're all made by My Mind's Eye. Can you guess how much they were? $2 each! Can you believe that?! Cause I still can't!

I love all these flowers and leaves and for $1.75, I couldn't say no!

I love me some Rub Ons! I don't use them as often as I used to though. I got some Christmas Rub Ons from Stampin' Up and October Afternoon's 5 & Dime Rub Ons.

How cute are the Pink Paislee Rub Ons on the left? There's a sprinkler! So cute! The Rub Ons on the right are from Basic Grey's Olio line.

The one thing I knew I'd be collecting more of is washi tape! I got all of the washi tape from K & Company. I got a yard of that light blue lace and I'm not sure what you call the other stuff! lol. But it looked fun.. it's in a sheet and it's from the craft store, Tall Mouse.

Are you drooling yet? I *LOVE* these stickers from Jillibean Soup! love love love!

Both of these 12x12 sticker sheets are from Echo Park.

How cute is this one?! Oh the possibilities!

Basic Grey's die cut pieces on the left and Fancy Pants Snips & Snails Chipboard on the right!

The Flower Wood Flourishes on the top left are from Kaisercraft. Not positive on the brand of the flowers and I got the Grover embellishments cause Grover is my niece's favorite character on Ses as she calls it. (Even if it's just regular Grover, she calls him Super Grover!)

Alright, on to the paper!

I'm not going to post all the names and collections the papers are from, but I will post the manufacturer! When I create a project with the paper, I will for sure add all the details!!

I got most of this paper for 6 for $1 and about 20 sheets was $.25 each.. there were a couple that I paid "regular" price for as well, but not many.. maybe, 3?

I'm going to post 2 pictures, one will be the front and the next will be the back. Here we go!

Fancy Pants & American Crafts

Fancy Pants & My Little Shoebox

My Mind's Eye - That kraft paper is by far the thickest cardstock I've ever seen! On the bottom photo of the "backs"... the grey chevron is one of my favorites! I got 5 sheets of it, lol.

GCD Studios & Imaginisce (the teal cheveron is one of my favorites I got also!)

Pink Paislee, Pink Paislee & Pink Paislee! =] I got 3 of the dark blue and 5 of the yellow, love those as well!

KI Memories

I've never owned anything from Studio Calico and I LOVED all these prints, so I thought now was the time! It wasn't $5.75 though.. it was $4.00! I was kind of bummed to only see one vendor (that I saw anyway, and I looked at pretty much everything) had Basic Grey 6x6 paper packs. Hopefully they'll have more in January at the Anaheim Expo! I had 4 collections saved in my phone that I wanted to get!!

I really hope you enjoyed all my new goodies! I had a blast buying them and I can't wait to start using them when I get back from vacation! Have a great week everyone!!

You're my cup of tea.

Before I get to my card I want to wish a very Happy Birthday to the best Mom ever made!!

I made this card for the Scrapbook News & Review call for October.. to make a tea cup shaped card.

I sketched this out, that's why it's a but lopsided! lol.

I used Pink Paislee's "Hot Cocoa" paper from their "Cozy Sweater" collection. for the cup.

The spoon and sentiment are from Basic Grey's Nook & Pantry stamps.

I inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and I used some Zva rhinestones as well.

A Birthday & A Christmas Layout!

I made this layout for the October 20/20 Challenge and the October Scraplift your Favorites Challenge on Scrapbook.com.

I used Echo Park's Everyday Eclectic (the same as the owls wings in my previous post) and I used Pink Paislee's Cozy Sweater for my journaling.

The Thickers are Subway. Great, now I want a Cold Cut Combo. =] I always want a Cold Cut Combo though, lol. LOVE Subway!

Journaling: Tomato, Mozzarella, Salami & Basil Appetizers. Linguine & Clams. Carmel Drizzle Pie. The Birthday Hat. $100 in singles taped together as a scarf. Doheny Beach. My favorite spot to take pictures. Stuft Pizza. S'mores on the beach with the love of my life. And one fancy shmancy pearl seat belt purse.

My purse!

I used My Mind's Eye's "The Sweetest Thing" for the number.. it's pink chevron on one side (the paper I used for my owl in my last post) and block numbers on the other. I used some washi tape and some die cut negatives for the hearts. I then added some stitching and used my tiny attacher!

I also added some white wood grain rub ons around the edges from EK Success.

This layout is also for the October 20/20 Challenge and for the Scraplift the person in front of you Challenge on Scrapbook.com. I lifted Lpeep's "Love" layout.

I think this may be the first layout I've ever made with more than one paper from the same collection. I never seem to do that. Probably cause I don't buy collections as a whole, I just buy the papers I like.

For the title I used Thicker's "Giggles". I couldn't decide between "Lights Out" or "Out like a Light". So, I put the layout on Instagram and asked for opinions!

Journaling: TT took you to go see Christmas lights one night. We stopped by the "music house" where the lights play along with the music. We thought it was off how the music that was playing wasn't even Christmas themed. We watched for about 10 minutes and you were awfully quiet. I thought you were just enjoying the show and when I looked in the backseat, you were sound asleep! When you stay awake, you love looking at Christmas Lights!

I used October Afternoon's Mini Marketplace Alphabet Stickers for her name and made a little banner out of the Cozy Sweater paper.

I want to say this Label is from Doodlebug Designs.. but I'm not positive. I printed the date on it.
