Happy Birthday!

Do you ever make a card or any project and you just LOVE it? That's how I feel about this card. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

Unfortunately, it's not my design! But if you've been following my blog for a while, you know that I lift a lot of cards. I don't know which I like more.. lifting or sketches!

I lifted a card by Summer Fullerton called Christmas Blessings, which you can see, HERE.

I absolutely adore that floral paper from Basic Grey's Out of Print collection and this paper is called "Storyteller". LOVE it. Did I say that already? Not to mention GCD Studio's "Priscila" chevron paper from their Oh Happy Day collection.

I used another paper from Basic Grey's "Out of Print" collection, some My Mind's Eye for the pink scallops and that super cute pointing sticker is from October Afternoon's "Farmhouse" Label Stickers.

I stamped Papertrey Ink's "It's A Celebration" for the sentiment and finished it up with some stitching and some Sunflower Yellow rhinestones.

HB - It's your Birthday!

 Happy Tuesday!

For this card, I used Clean & Simple Sketch  #232. As you know, I love their sketches!

I needed a boy card, which aren't my favorite! I started with My Mind's Eye chevron paper and splattered some gold paint on it.

I used yellow Chipboard Thicker's called Typo for this part of the sentiment on top of a paper from Basic Grey's Clipping 6x6 Pad.

For this part of the sentiment, I embossED Elle's Studio's "Detail Flags" (which you can find, HERE) in white.

That cute "It's your Birthday" stamp is from Lil' Inker Designs, you can find it, HERE.

I think you're egg-cellent

I found these cute egg gummies at Winco. Are they not the cutest? They taste good too... a citrusy flavor!

I simply put them in a clear candy bag and stapled it closed.

For the tag, I free handed an Egg using My Mind's Eye's "Nostalgia". My free handing is terrible, so this wasn't the 1st attempt! I added this fabric clothes tag from Junkitz. I bought this tag YEARS ago! It has sure held up it's cuteness!!

I added some stitching, a couple sequence and some white 1/2 pearls for decoration!

I will put these goodies in my nieces Easter Basket!

The top is the rest of Week 6!

Then starts week 7!

I used My Mind's Eye, Echo Park, Amy Tangerine, Elle's Studio & Studio Calico for this page!

I LOVE that arrow paper from My Mind's Eye, don't you?

I printed on pictures twice on this page.. which is one of my new favorite things to do!

This of course was my favorite card! It is just too exciting not to be!

A New Do!

Hello Hello! Happy Tuesday! I have been sick since Wednesday and have been feeling miserable! I went to the doctor on Friday because one, I felt so yucky and two, I was scared it may be the flu and my immune system isn't normal due to chronic pain I've had in both legs since I was 13! So, I wanted to be safe. Thankfully, it was just a Viral Infection. I'm finally feeling almost 100%, thankfully! I haven't been this sick in years.

So, the day before I got sick, I got my hair done! It had to be cut, it was just driving me insane! I don't like when it touches my neck or shoulders and once it gets past a certain length, it just makes me feel uncomfortable! lol.

I've had the idea since I was about 16, to dye the bottom 2 inches of my hair a bright magenta. I never did it, cause, it's too unlike me! But out of no where, I said lets do it, made the appointment and it's done! And I'm SO glad I decided to do it... I absolutely love it!

Here I am before from the front...

Here is the back of my hair before we started...

 Here's the front after!

Here's the back after!

I absolutely LOVE it! And it is even... my curls just curl differently!!

What do you think?

Welcome Maddox!

This card was made for a girl I've known since I was little.. one of her friends, who has seen my cards,  contacted me and asked if I could make a baby shower card for her newest little one.

I was waiting until the baby shower was over, before I posted this, but he just came into the world a couple days ago, so I think it's time!

She requested teal, grey and white for the card.

I used a sketch I found on Pinterest, which you can find, HERE.

I used My Mind's Eye, Basic Grey & Crate Paper.

I did his name in Thickers, these are called Rockbye in white. I added a little washi tape too!

I stitched around the edges and attached these tiny papers with Tim Holtz's Tiny Attacher.

Project Life - Week 6 - Feb. 5-11

Week 6, comin' up!

The top is actually the rest of Week 5! You can see the rest of it, HERE.

I couldn't figure out why my past weeks were blurry when I posted them here, but I think I have it figured out! Hopefully this week is more clear than the last!!

This week I used some My Mind's Eye, Pink Paislee, Basic Grey, Elle's Studio & GCD Studios!

We tried a new recipe, I lost 2lbs., Kal was doing some reading, Dad's mug FINALLY came after 3 months and Klayre & I had a picnic in the living room!

Klayre became a Daisy and Joey took me to The Great Balloon Park in Orange County. If you haven't been or heard of it, check out their site, HERE. You go up 400ft. in this orange balloon that is tethered to the ground. If that isn't fun enough, it's free too! They also have a carousel that is also free to ride as many time as you want. I rode an ostrich!

This was my favorite card of this week! Very excited for her!

Happy Birthday Ayron!!

Tonight we went out to Market Broiler to celebrate Ayron's Birthday. Ayron is a friend of the boyfriends! And he's a quite hilarious one at that!!

Here's our appetizers... Crab stuffed Won Tons.. They were as good as they look! I somehow scraped and cut the roof of my mouth on these too.. Oops. Still worth it!

I had Shellfish Pasta for dinner... It had huge pieces of lobster in it!!

On to the card.. If you've been reading my blog for a while, you know I don't like making "boy cards"!! I don't know if it's because I have mostly all girly products or what, but it seems so tough when it's time to make a "boy card"!!

Here's Ayron and his card!

For the card, I used Stampin' Up!'s Crub Cake for the base and sprayed it with Smooch Spritz in Mossy Mist. I used My Mind's Eye & Pink Paislee paper. The stamp is from Fiskars and the super cute arrow Washi Tape is from Freckled Fawn.

Have you heard of the Washi SwapEvent that's going on at The Feckled Fawn blog?? It's where you send washi tape and get the same number back. I'm going swap 5! Check it out, HERE.
